We stayed here in Januaruy of 2012. It was spotlessly clean. A beautiful, recently remodeled french villa. We stayed in one fo the second floor rooms with a balcony facing the river. Quiet. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets on the river. I fair walk from the center of town but (we felt) worth it. Good value. Would stay here again.
Clean, modern and basic hotel, right on the Mekong River. One specific pro - they have amazing bedding! Don't know if they sheets are brand new, but they're super soft and the beds have a fluffy lightweight down-like comforter on them as well. A really nice surprise in the middle of Laos!
