I stayed in February for a couple of days in a room at the back of Lani. It was very quiet, clean with good aircon and fridge for US$25. The place is also secure - good for single travellers. Staff are friendly and helpful. The location is excellent. more

I have recently returned home from an extended stay at the Lani Guesthouse and would highly recommend it to other travellers. It is quiet, relaxed, and friendly. Happy to say our experience was very nice here. Our first impression,upon arriving very late, was not very good. We were not met at the airport like we were confirmed to be, and after trying to communicate to a non-english speaking (altho cheerful) front desk clerk, and fighting off the mosquitoes at the front desk, we expected to change accommodations... more

This is way overpriced considering what you get. We had booked in advance a double room only to be shown a single. We managed to get a double on the ground floor which we found dark and uninspiring, with a cloud of mosquitos which greeted our arrival. Our host did agree to spray but the sheets and ambience left us... more
