We were satisfied of our stay there, but it was actually the first hotel we stayed in during our trip in Lao en Vietnam. My husband and I stayed at Mali Namphu for 2 nights while in Vientiane - the hotel was very clean with attentive staff and a lovely breakfast included in the price, especially as the courtyard setting for breakfast is delightful. Mali Namphu is in a great location, pretty much in the centre... but then again Vientiane is small so most hotels are in a decent spot. Everything in Laos has gone up in price... this place is a good option. We paid $US25 a night for a good clean double room. more
