Dragon Lodge is good value for money, and the owner is serivce minded. I always stay here on my visits to Vientiane. But his hotel boys could do with a bit more smiling and attentiveness. It used to be better. more

I stayed in 3 different rooms for $18 pn at Dragon Lodge, Vientiane, in June ‘06. The air-conditioning barely worked making rooms hot and stuffy. We have stayed at the Dragon Lodge a couple of times in the last three years. It is a nice and cozy guesthouse with very helpfull staff. The rooms have a good size, with large bathroom with hot water shower. Also cable TV in the room. There is no restaurant in the hotel, although there is several nice ones close... more
