We stayed here in March for one week out of tourist season when things were quiet in town. The hotel offered basic but adequate facilities and is about 3-4 blocks from the Central Post Office so it's easy to walk everywhere in the city. The room shared by 2 of us had a sitting room and separate twin bedroom which was great because there was no common lounge area in the hotel. As with all of UB, the power was out at times as well as the cable TV reception but the hotel was unable to do much about these things. The heating was good (and needed). All the desk staff were friendly and helpful and spoke English well. We had help from the 'business centre' on one occasion to get some things printed. The only worry was the restaurant management (separately run to the hotel) the owner was new and seemed quite out of his depth although the cooked English breakfast was very good.
