I looked at several different budget places in Ulaan Baatar, and even stayed at two different places (the other being Khongor), and Nassan was by far the best. Nassan is a very nice, quiet-spoken woman, if a bit reserved, and her place is very quiet and clean, and centrally located. I also met a lot of really interesting backpackers there.... more

Stayed here on the recommendation of Dave at 'Dave's Bar' in Sukhbaatar Square and found it to be one of the best traveller 'guesthouses' we'd stayed at during our trip to Mongolia and central Asia. I had an excellent time at this hostel. Nassan is a really sweet lady and is very helpful. The hostel was clean, comfortable, and in an excellent spot! I highly recommend it! more
