We stayed 3 nights at the Three Camel Lodge and it was fantastic. The gers were excellent and the Lodge is well appointed. The service was great. It is a beautiful location with horses on the steppe right outside the veranda. I would go back in a heartbeat. Nomadic Expeditions should be proud of their concern for the environment of... More

Staying in a ger is a must to really experience the Gobi Desert and Mongolia. My ger was a deluxe one and I had an inside bathroom, well worth the extra cost. I was comfortable during the night and did not require heating up the stove. Because of the tranquil atmosphere of the desert, I slept like a baby throughout... More

3 camel lodge was the best of the 3 ger camps that we stayed in while in mongolia. nice location between several important sites. the gers are well maintained - we got the deluxe which has an attached bathroom and that was nice during the cold nights, otherwise in warm weather i wouldn't bother. the food was also excellent and... Staying in gers is not always the greatest experience but this was definitely one of the best. The ger was comfortable, nice big bed. We went in September and it was very cold at night but we had a fire in the evening which got us into bed warm enough. Be sure and ask for extra camel wool blankets if... More

I recently stayed at the Three Camel Lodge and absoluetly loved it! It is a beautifully desgined and tastefully furnished place with great facilities, gourmet food, superb services and amazing location. I have only few minor complaints: no electricity outlets in gers so one has to go to the bar/lounge area and charge their batteries, phones, lap tops etc with... More

Considering the remoteness of this lodge, they've done a wonderful job. The food is great; the staff is pleasant; there's always a beautiful view of something; within driving distance of many places of interest. They grow some vegetables on site. The ladies shower room is lovely with each shower cleaned after each use. I did find, though, that the water... More

We chose the place since it seemed to be most comfortable ger camp in the Gobi. We were picked up at Dalanzadgad airport in a Russian 4*4 and were amazed to see the road turn into a desert track less than half a km from the airport exit. The drive thro' the desert took about an hour and a half... More

The Gobi desert has many ger or yurt camps but none offer the comparative "luxury" of Three Camel Lodge. Luxury is a relative term in the Gobi but TCL achieves it so long as you don't expect an in suite shower and a host of amenities. It is in a class by itself. The dining room staff is more than... This lodge is absolutely amazing. We took an EZ-Nis flight from Ulaanbaatar to Dalangzagdad. We had arranged our stay from Nomad Expeditions in UB. They have very helpful English speaking staff. We had arranged for a private driver to pick us up in Dalangzagdad. Nomad Expeditions made it really easy for us to arrange for his stay on a short... More

Surely the top of the ladder in Mongolian ger camps! An eco-sensitive ger camp that delivers comfort and (almost) luxury in the Gobi. Built of local materials in a traditional style many of the gers have en suite toilets and sinks, no small deal after camping in the desert. A relaxing porch from which to sip a COLD drink (cold...
