This is possibly the best value for money hotel in Colombo. Kindly friendly staff, frequent local weddings if you want authentic atmosphere, quite tasty local food in the restaurant. Very ,very nice rooftop swimming pool with an attendant and the pool is almost never used by guests! If you are a backpacker or on a budget, its the best in... more

Decided on this hotel because it was close to my offices in the city. Spent two weeks and enjoyed every moment. The staff went out of their way to assist including producing an extension cable and additional table in my room. we stayed here before and after a humanitarian trip to the East of Sri Lanka after the Tsunami. The hotel was nice for Sri Lanka standards. Some of our group described it as "kind of Mexican".
