Spent only just over 12 hours here. Lovely, spacious room and en-suite. Not far from the sea - we took a tuk-tuk there, had a couple of drinks at the Galle Face Hotel then walked back to the Trans-Asia (as it was then called). 1st impression about this hotel his: wow..excellent! big and nice building in the middle of colombo crowded city.. Everything is fine except that the Indian Restaurant is only North Indian and the vegetarian choice is very limited. There is better choice at the Breakfast Buffet. more
