this place is in a good location with a short walk to blue mosque and bazar. the room was only half clean when we turned up but there was only one girl cleaning and she was too busy, but she came back later in the afternoon to finish it off. the bathroom stunk really bad and so did the room.... more
We travelled turkey for 15 days, stayed in 6 different budget hostels and Istanbul Paris Hostel & Hotel is the only hostel I would not return to. Very central to all tourist attractions. From airport caught bus into city, walked a short distance and caught tram. Most locals speak some english which made things easy. Amazing service by the staff at the hostel, kept making and offering us cups of tea (free). Breakfast included. Free internet. Smallish room but great views out over the sea. Would certainly... more
I stayed at Istanbul Paris Hostel december '08 / january'09 and I can recommend this hostel to all, who are looking for cheap base and spend most of the time visiting the city, because the location is just perfect. The staff is very helpful, the rooms are good for this price. Big plus is free tea and staff. more
I enjoyed my stay at Paris hostel, its a 5 min walk from the tram stop, easy to find, great staff, right near the blue mosque, a decent help yourself breakfast, nice basement bar, free internet, totally safe area even late at night. more
Well we were travelling on a very tight budget so opted for the cheapest private room in a hostel and ended up finding Istanbul Paris Hostel. So we weren't expecting any luxuries.
