Normally I love the tips they give in the Lonely Planet but I really do not understand why LP recommands this hostel. There are so many better hostels in Istanbul. The location of the Sultan Hostel is amazing but unfortunately we had a few issues with our room. We lost electricity a few times which was just a minor annoyance and was quickly rectified.
