We found this hostel over priced for what they offered. Toilets do not flush properly, shower hose fell off the wall, and music was blaring until late. We did not find the staff very helpful (the only time they really spoke to us was to ask us for our money), we found the hostel across the road more helpful. The room was clean. more
After Mavi Guesthouse round the corner losing our booking (see other review) we were desperate for anything...
We were wander up and down Sultanhamet searching for anything at a comparable price. We were stopped by a nice fellow outside a bar after he noticed our struggle poking in one hostel after another. He literally guessed that we were looking for accommodation and fast, a life saver.
He took us up inside this place, a collection of 5 or 6 flats, more or less, all brand spanking new with big comfy beds, ensuite, with TVs and lovely furnishings. There was even a small balcony bay window with dual views up and down the street of Sultanhamet. Minutes walk to Blue Mosque, dozens of cafes, and little corner supermarkets right down stairs!
Needless to say we took it and it's great value (only $10 total more a night that the very dodgy Mavi round the corner) and loved every minute!
Oh, and did I mention FREE INTERNET in their lobbY?
