Best Western Amber Hotel is perfectly situated in relation to most sites in Istanbul. Within walking distance of the Blue mosk, the Topkapi palads and the grand bazar. Smal clean and friendly hotel where the straff is extremely helpfull. more

We stayed at Best Western Amber, Istanbul, in December 2009. The staff was quite gently and always ready to give us the informations we needed. The staff in Amber Hotel are very Friendly and helpful. The rooms are too small yet clean and tidy. The baby bed we ordered was in a bad condition so we were forced to make our baby to sleep between us on our bed :) more

It was nice stay. Nothing negative to say about service and staff. Sufficient breakfast, clean rooms (mine had a view to Marmara Sea), good location. Turkish food in the restaurant was delicious and the staff of the restaurant was very welcoming. more

Excellent base for a visit to Istanbul, especially the old city. Access to the trams is a 15 minute walk uphill but the tram runs through most of the areas of interest. The nearest station is Beyazit which is right next to the Grand Bazaar and the Sultanahmet area (Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque and the Hippodrome) is 2 tram stops... more

I was really impressed by this hotel. The rooms are clean (but the decoration is a little bit cheesy), the breakfast on the rooftop terrace was OK, the free wifi in the rooms was good enough for me to use Skype, and there are great seafood restaurants just around the corner. The staff were really nice & helpful, and knowledgeable.... more

Our stay was very pleasant, the staff, especially the reception staff were very friendly and very knowlegable about the tours we took and were able to give us good advice where to go.
