We used the Aruna hotel for a week in Nov.. We took a chance as we had not been there before and knew nothing about it. The gamble paid off as the location was spot on. The Aruna Hotel is well situated and the staff are helpful. The Manager, Yilmaz Doruk, speaks perect English and arranged a taxi to pick us (cheaply) at the airport. He offered helpful advice, assisted me in phone calls and made good recommendations. The rooms are not large, but have everything you need - with good facilities. Excellent value. We stayed for 6 nights. The location is very good - within an easy walk of almost all of the top tourist spots and the tram. Some local restaurants are OK, but ask the manager for recommendations on better ones (still within walking distance).
