I stayed here for two nights on business in December 2009. Overall, I would highly recommend the hotel. Everything was nice and I can't think of a major issue. Since this was my initial trip to Istanbul, I am not certain if the location was the best, but it worked for me. As usual, the Good, Bad, and Ugly.
The Good
- Room size and cleanliness. Nice room size to work from and it was spotless from top to bottom. Kudos to the cleaning staff.
- Bed and pillow comfort. Excellent on both counts with a pillow menu in case I preferred one type over the other.
- Check-in. As should always happen, a receptionist escorted me to my room to ensure everything was fine and walk through the details of my stay and the surroundings. Much appreciated.
- Free WiFi service. As a back-up, they had an Ethernet cable in the room. Nice touch.
- Breakfast. Wide variety, great view of city. Real nice.
- Bathroom. Large shower (no tub) with all the amenities necessary...
