Very basic room but clean. Very nice people working there (will try to do everything you’ll ask for). Good location for walking everywhere. Very nice view from upper floor restaurant. Noisy if your windows will be on water. Try to keep your bathroom door closed. Bathroom has small window and mosquitoes will be flying in to your room. Maybe too... More

We just spent 8 nights here, it was a last minute booking and we found it to be an ideal location for our stay, very central with easy walking distance to all of the places you would want to visit. The hotel is a small boutique like hotel located next to the Galata bridge (and about 20-30 metres from the... More

The hotel is situated next to the Galata Bridge on the northern bank of the Golden Horn, facing the old town with a beautiful panorama. All need-to-see places are easily in walking distance, but also the tramway station just a few meters away from the hotel and the easy and logic system of Istanbul's public transportation system helps to get... This was my third trip to Istanbul. On previous holidays I've stayed in the Ottoman quarter near Hagia Sophia, and the Blue Mosque. This trip we decided to go for a location near Galata Bridge on the Beyoglu side of the city. As other reviewers have explained, this is the PERFECT place to stay - perfectly situated between Sultanahmet and... More

When it comes to hotels, some travellers like to be IN the classic postcard view while others like to step back and look AT the classic postcard view. In Istanbul, I sampled both types. For my first week in the city, I stayed at the Ottoman Hotel Imperial – right beside Hagia Sophia Basilica in the very centre of the... More

You can't beat the location of this hotel, its right on the water, you can catch all the ferries and walk anywhere you want to see the most important things. The rooms are sparsely furnished, but you get great views and Wi-Fi, and you will not spend much time in the room anyway, the service is friendly and helpful.

I arrived relatively late after a long journey and was disappointed I didn't have the energy to go out and explore the city for dinner. As it turned out, this was no problem at all, because from the hotel restaurant I had the impression I could have dived into the bosphorous and the view took in Istanbul's most famous sites.... More

This is the location to tour Istanbul, walking distance to every scenery in the city. Take a room with sea view, relax and enjoy the trip. The breakfast included keeps you going for the rest of the day. Busses and the tram are closeby, money withdrawal around the corner, and then the bridge, a place to see the friendly people of...
