The Holiday Inn Istanbul city is a comfortable hotel to stay in. The bets thing is that there is a tram station right opposite the hotel and you can be in Sultanahmet in 15 minutes. The staff is extremely friendly and do all they can to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Stayed here for the International Health Tourism Congress. Only issue was the hassle with getting a cable for internet access in the rooms. Otherwise a pretty good hotel for business and vacation use and only 20 minutes or so from the airport.
