Airconditioning is just warm air!! Room is nice with small bath. Far from sights. Taxis are expensive. Nice big pool and restaurants. Bad value overall. more

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. After reading the reviews we thought this might just be for people who needed an airport hotel but to our delight it made no difference - we might as well have stayed closer to the city centre for the facilities available. We arrived at Ataturk Airport late at night and the taxi... more

A great place to stay in Istanbul. Incredible staff and service, close to airport (Ataturk) but VERY quiet, Amazing view of the sea. Superb food in ALL the restaurants. Great beds! I would recommend this hotel for anyone traveling to Istanbul for any purpose. Just cant think of enough great things to say about this property. more

here on business - its a good hotel - near the airport but quiet! Airline crews stay here, so it must be safe/secure and reasonably comfortable. I like it - and as I do all my business at the airport, i dont like to stay downtown where of course there are better hotels. Its not perfect - i could complain... more

I spent a couple of nights here on Marriott points at the end of a week in Istanbul after staying at the Empress Zoe in the Sultanahmet. Checked in at around 2pm - friendly staff, no issues. I was surprised at the level of security at the hotel, both the car check and guard at the gate, as well as... more

The Polat hotel is a new facility looking over the Marmara Sea. At sunrise, tankers can been seen waiting to travel up the Bosphorus River. The hotel has a beautful and enormous pool for laps or wading. There is state of the art work our facilities and equipment, a 4 star spa, a helipad, dock, gift shops, and numerous restuarants... more

Travelling with the family, I booked two poolside rooms for a night between flights at Ataturk. Website advertised "free airport shuttle," but when I called the hotel upon landing at 11:30am I was advised that the next shuttle wouldn't leave the airport until 2:30pm, so we cabbed the 4 km over to the hotel. Then we learned that the first... more

The pros: amazing sports facilities (2 pools, 4 hot tubs, saunas, Turkish bath, and large gym with free weights, machines and many treadmills, ellipticals, etc.), four restaurants, two cafes, fantastic beds (down comforters, pillow choices), clean, security (at gate, in entrance and key card elevator access), variety of television channels, wifi access (15 euro fee though), free shuttles to city... more

We were looking forward to staying at this hotel as a break from some of the small and less well-appointed places we had stayed during our three weeks in Turkey. We stayed here our last night in Turkey, thinking we would have a relaxing night, a great meal. and a sound sleep before we caught our planes early in the... more

So unusual to sleep next to the aiport and having no trouble with the noise. And a bonos the bed was really comfertable, well you have to lay on the good side, my partner kept rolling to the side, but my ight was lovely. The spa and gym was super, I didn't stay long , because I assumed in turky... more
