Let me start by saying there is absolutely nothing wrong with this hotel. It is a perfectly acceptable, motel-style 3 star hotel in a pretty good location. We HATED it. It is brown and beige and soulless. The corridors had low ceilings and worn, dull carpets. The rooms also have low ceilings and inadequate lighting and the breakfast room looks... more

We stayed in the hptel before our holyland cruise. The hotel is clean and friendly but the location is excellent. It is witihin 10 minutes walk of all the tourisr spots in Istanbul such as , Grand Bazaar Blue Mosque, Topkapi Plaace and Aya Sofia. The small cafe in the hotel has the best lamb I have ever tasted. We just got back from a cruise out of Istanbul with NCL. We stayed at the Best Western President Hotel. The location was perfect: close to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and the Palace to name a few. stayed here for 4 nights early october staff were friendly and helpful throughout all areas largest choice of breakfast i have seen anywhere dinner in restaurant was very good especially if you have the two for one offer. pool was small but adequate with bar and large sun terrace and the view!!! rooms clean and tidy and decent size overall... more

This hotel is very well located near the bazaar ( five minutes ) and the main monuments ( ten minutes by foot for Haghia Sophia ) of this part of Istanbul. The hotel is situated in Beyazit right on the doorstep of the Grand Bazaar. The major sights are easliy within walking distance or a stop or two on the excellent tram. Stayed here with a large (70) group. Check in very efficient. 3 large elevators. Rooms very clean- but typically tourist- no ironing board, no coffee maker (had to ask for one as we found out some other rooms had them). Free wireless.
