The USP of this hotel is undoubtedly its excellent location, situated in the old city and about a two minute walk from the Blue Mosque. Indeed, the view from the rooftop terrace is spectacular - even if the drinks were a little on the pricey side. The rooms themselves are fairly basic but generally has everything you'd need. There are signs of some of the facilities being a little dated (handles of the shower doors needed replacing for example) but I had four comfortable nights sleep here.

Honestly one of the worst experiences I’ve had. What’s Good: 1.) Breakfast was really nice and the breakfast staff were very friendly and welcoming 2.) drinks on the top terrace were really good with and excellent sunset view of the blue mosque. What’s not Good: 1.) they lost/ cancelled our booking so the rooms we booked were not the rooms we got. Basically told us we could have these rooms or go elsewhere, then tried to charge us more for paying by card. 2.) didn’t have any hot water one whole evening, and we were told we had to wait until the morning??? 3.) they want everything is euros despite Turkish Lira being the currency, and only want cash. They are literally the only place in Istanbul that won’t take card, everywhere else (markets included take card). 4.) we were told we could securely leave our luggage for the morning, what they meant was a shelf in the open right by the door, not locked up or anything. Overall wouldn’t recommend and I’m sure there are better places to stay in Istanbul.

Superb experience from this hotel, amazing service from start to end. Their roof top restaurant offers amazing scenic views of blue mosque. Their food was 10/10, they offer amazing breakfast. Their coffee machine was amazing. Finally I would like to say that they went all out to make me feel welcomed

It’s like going on a date with someone from a dating app and expecting to meet Scarlett Johansson, but it turns out to be Freddie Krueger. A lot of the photos provided by the hotel don’t reflect what the hotel currently looks like now, with the room, reception and garden area looking very worn down, when compared to the photos provided. My experience at the hotel didn’t improve anything, my room seemed like it hadn’t been cleaned since it was previously used, as the bedding wasn’t laid out properly, there were hairs on the pillow, toothpaste still in the sink and a pair of used socks in the bin. The condition of the room was also terrible, a curtain was hanging on by a single hook and the robe had several large holes, the double bed was made from pushing to single beds together, but you could easily feel where the 2 beds joined and made it uncomfortable to sleep in the middle. I think the room may have been haunted, as I could clearly hear voices which shouldn’t have been possible with the soundproofing. It took several requests to reception to get them to look into the problems and after a few hours they managed so sort out a few of them before I gave up and wanted to get some sleep. I was lucky, another guest at reception had a broken shower and the staff were not able to fix the problem or offer another room. On one evening there was a loss of water for an hour which affected the shower and toilet, when I mentioned this to reception, they just told me to keep my fingers crossed that it doesn’t happen again while I’m in the shower. If you’re going to choose this hotel based on their photos, my advice is to prepare for disappointment. If you’re going to choose this hotel based on its location, then there are many other hotels in this area to choose from.

You cannot sleep. Every noise on next rooms, every voice you hear it like it’s the person next to you talking. Hopefully I was only one night. A TV in Turkish did not stop all night. The mixer in bathroom was half functional.

PROS ✔️We stayed here for 2 nights and the hotel so far is clean, affordable and its very much acessible to most tourist attractions..Blue mosque and Haghia Sophia is just few minutes walk from the Hotel..and there are loads of restaurants nearby...so the location is really great for tourists! ✔️Hotel staff are friendly and courteous..They will also help you find great tour packages for you to enjoy the beauty of Turkey..And they helped us booked airport transpo on our last day...so Kudos to that!👏🏻 ✔️They offer free breakfast..so far the food was great! Lots of options to chose from... ✔️ I just love how there receiving area looks like..simple but shows Istanbul at its finest... CONS ✔️The room we got was on the third floor and there was no lift / elevator, so it was a bit of a struggle to go to your room especially you have your luggages with you... ✔️The picture advertised for the room we booked was not the same as what you will get in reality...Picture is showing a bottle of wine on the bed which you may think a complimentary drink for couples but its not for free though they have price list on their minibar...and it was not even placed on the bed when we enter the room... ✔️On our second day bathroom was not cleaned well, although you may see it physically cleaned but then the smell was really terrible... ✔️Heating is centralized, we felt we were roasted inside our room on our second day we were trying to adjust the AC but then we cannot because it was defaulted to heating...I think it would be much better if each rooms has their own AC where they can adjust the temperature according to their desire...The hotel staff did helped us with this issue but the most that they can do was to turn off the heating inside our room and told us to just open the windows to make the room cooler...

Absolutely lovely hotel and most of the staff are friendly. It is close to the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia as well as Pacha st. and Grand Bazaar. The view from the top is amazing. The breakfast buffet offered lots of choice and the food was great, freshly made.

Stayed for just one night in a double room due to our flights not connecting. Location is within walking distance to everything in the old town. Staff were very friendly and spoke good english. The room and bathroom is what you expect for a three star and the price - hence the great value for money. We had room 206 and it was very quiet and dark in the morning. Had a great sleep in. Only draw back is that the minibar was not working (but we forgot to tell them) and the pillows were not great. However i did ask for a third pillow and they gave it. You can organise a bus shuttle to the airport directly through them for only 10EUR each (cheaper than that 50EUR taxi we paid to get there).

This is a great little hotel located 5 minutes from the Blue Mosque. The breakfast buffet is diverse and a great way to get some nutrition before starting your day of sight seeing. The only downside is that there is no elevator so if you're on the fourth floor be prepared to work off that breakfast up and down 91 steps...

We stayed at the Sarnic for 3 nights recently. The hotel is located very close to the main sights so extremely convenient. We had a top floor room which gave the legs a good workout but had a view of the Blue Mosque !! The room was very comfortable with a high quality, huge bed , ideal for relaxing after a hot days sightseeing. The breakfast was more than adequate, good choice of hot and cold items, I ate far too much!!! Coffee was not too great according to my husband, Turkish tea was lovely. All in all a great stay in a perfect location with friendly, helpful staff , would definitely return .
