I enjoyed this hotel but found the rooms - especially for a single- quite small and a little dingy. There are many options in Istanbul so I'm not sure I would stay here again in a single. we have just returned from a 3 night stay at the Hotel Nena - which i booked after reading reviews on this site i might add. it was excellent in every aspect, the staff were so welcoming and friendly, the rooms were spotless at all times and the view from the terrace where we had a delicious breakfast was amazing.... more

I stayed at the Nena hotel twice – both times were most satisfactory. The location is perfect – all the major sights are within the (very enjoyable) walking distance, the staff are very friendly and helpful, rooms are reasonably clean, and the views from the rooftop restaurant are just spectacular. more

Great location - though unkown to many cab drivers!!! - but the good news is that the driver we had, at least, was willing to do the search till he got us there! We couldnt have chosen a better hotel, cozy, friendly, clean. Its in a perfect location close to all major attractions, staff are exceptionally helpful and kind, has a great terrace view, which makes breakfast an additional pleasure. i stayed at the Nena. Ok, it is a little boutique, but it was GREAT! Memhet at the front desk was more than helpful, and Ali, the waiter at the rooftop restaurant was completely entertaining.
