I loved the Pera Palas. Its true it has faded grandeur but sooner or later it will be restored and so will the prices. The rooms are huge beautiful bathrooms many with standing baths, great location. Stay before the prices rocket! more

Well you will either love it or hate it. It is really like staying in a museum. It is not really in the best part of town for walking, though Taxis are very cheap - but check your change. I loved the thrill of staying there but next time I think I will stay somewhere more comfortable. more
