We were in Ankara staying with Turkish locals and planning our trip to Istanbul. Despite being "low" season, virtually the entire Top 25 Istanbul hotels in and around Sultanahmet were booked up. Finally, one of our Turkish friends suggested the Eresin Crown and promised that we would not be disappointed. He got on the phone with the front desk, where... more

In a great location but that is where the great or good ends. Room initially given on the ground floor level was small, dark with the window looking out to a narrow dark side laneway. Housekeeping substandard - Pillow cases had not been changed, hair from previous guest on the cases. To change rooms to a "superior room " that... more

Management response from
CETIN KOCA, Front Office Manager

The guests stayed at our Hotel for 6 days from the 13 th to the 19 th of October. They did not indicate any concerns regarding the service offered and the price charged for the upgrade . 50 EUR charge is standard for any upgrade. The reservation of the clients was for a superior room. They did not like the...

My Husband and I spent our last 3 nights in Istanbul at this Hotel. We enjoyed our stay. Our Room though small was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Restuarant and Bar facilities were very good. Hotel has historical artefacts which are very interesting. Hotel is in a good location and is walking distance from Istanbul's main sights. more

We stayed here for one night on June 10, 2008 prior to leaving for Bodrum for a boat cruise. The location is perfect: five minute walk to the Blue Mosque. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. Our bags didn't make our flight from JFK and the manager took a personal interest in solving the problem - we did... more

A few min from Blue Mosque, hippodrome, Hagia Sophia, the staff, particularly Cetin Koca (front office mgr) is very resourceful and helpful. Hotel contains ancient artifacts found during its construction. more

Perfectly located – we walked to everything – the bazaar, the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and the cutest streets – safe to go walking at nights. The street of the hotel is well lit and quiet. The terrace was closed due to weather conditions but they were nice enough to allow us to go up there and take in the... more

The Hotel is a special catagory Historical property. The rooms are very comfortable, the restaurant and food is very good, the service excellent and the view from the rooftop restaurant and... more

Stayed at this hotel with my girlfriend to celebrate our anniversary. I had booked a dinner and asked for roses to be delivered. Not only did we get these done, we also got a personal letter from the manager and hand made chocolates – very impressive! The lobby is unusual in the sense that you feel as though you’re in... more
