We were told by the proprietor that the hotel was fully booked, but that she would do "something we don't normally do" and open the a top floor room for the same price until another room became available. The house in itself is quite attractive with its wooden structure, its bright (turquoise) painting and its typical rooms. We had decided to treat ourselves with the Sultan room at 80 € cash / night, but we were a bit disappointed by the bathroom (no shower curtain, unpredictible availability of hot water, broken tiles, etc.) and the bed (bad mattress).... more

The Turkuaz Hotel was absolutely charming! The manager, Maria, is very "motherly and protective" and her attitude is always, "No problem!"
