Amazingly quiet on a warren of pedestrian streets just off a major street at Sultanahmet tram stop with lots of shops, restaurants, and 5 minute walk to Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia. Easy to get to via Metro & Tram. Very nice staff, eager to help in any way. Breakfast on closed roof terrace was fantastic. Very good value for... more

Similar to many of the reviews here, this place was just unbelievable. The website was pure fiction. 'Boutique hotel'? Ah, no. Honestly, against the international hotel ranking system, a 1 and 1/2 star rating would be generous. In the middle of summer, the room was not only not airconditionecontained, but only contained a small pedestal fan that had to share... more

As others have said, this hotel isn't the cleanest and doesn't have the best service, BUT, it's FANTASTIC in terms of location. Overlooking the tram line in Sultanahmet, you are walking distance from the Covered Markets, the Hippodrome, Topkapi Palace, the Cistern, the Blue Mosque and Aya Sophia. Then it's just a short tram ride to anywhere else you want... more

I can't contradict everything what has been written before, but I would underline the values of the hotel from a different aspect. The rooms are not tiptop, neither the building, not the whole staff speaks English and in general: there's a little funny feeling in the hotel. But I wouldn't go elsewhere next time and right because of this funny... more

The hotel website looks nothing like the hotel today. Its drab, our bathroom was disgusting, any food we had was cold, the heating was unreliable, in general the whole hotel is the pits. The whole hotel is in serious need of urgent refurbishment. When you check in you have to pay the full ammount in advance, I wonder why ??... more

Please do believe the other reviews. We just came back from Istanbul and this hotel completely live up to the reviews mentioned by other people. The only plus point is the central location and excellent view of the Blue Mosque. That comes with a price, if you like to get wake up by the "prayer calling" at 6:30am every morning... more

We booked a double room at this hotel though their website. On the website it showed a very nice room, nice reception and nice outlook. When we got there we realised we had made a big mistake. Firstly in the reception it is very old full of smoke even though they have signs up everywhere saying no smoking all the... more

Rooms was dirty and small with uncomfortable mattress (no bed). It's is located in a very convenient and touristy location with great view of the Blue Mosque. It's very noisy at night. The staff is very friendly in general, but not "gay friendly" as they advertise. I think turkish in general are very open-minded and have European mentality, as long... more
