For the price the Hanedan is great value. We booked 3 months ago at the off-peak price of 40 Euros for a double with breakfast. We just spent a very satisfying 'off-season' week there. Great location in terms of accessing the old city sights. Excellent staff: friendly, courteous, helpful. Satisfying range of options in the full-breakfast (inclusive). We liked the traditional decor, 4-post bed, squeaky wooden floors and quite comfy bed. My partner and I were greeted warmly and efficiently following hotel pickup at Ataturk. When we saw our room, we were very pleased. I would have given this spot 5 stars, but it was just a bit too noisy. I was woken up each night from the 5am prayer call. Other than that, I loved the place. This hotel is a real, wonderful gem! The location is great: super-central but at the same time slightly off the main sultanhamet crowd.
