I stayed at this hotel in Feb 2009. The location is pretty good, but not if you are a tourist as the main tourist area of Sultanahmet (monuments etc.) is quite far. The exterior is not so great, looks more like an office / apartment block. The staff are friendly and prompt however their English skills are limited. There were... more

I've stayed at this hotel for the past 12 years without any real issues.......what you have to decide before you travel is what you want from the trip.... 5* Facilities for 3 star money? you wont get that here..........Or a hotel which you can put up with to gain a great location for sightseeing without having to drive anywhere....... I... more

spent 2 nights in this hotel on 10th june, from other reviews we did not expect anything special. we chose the hotel as it is well positioned for nightlife and shopping in ortakoy. we were not disappointed by the hotel position, as we could walk to some great clubs and restaurants. staff we friendly enough, our rooms were fine for... more

We stayed at the Princess Ortakoy at the beginning of May 2008 with our toddler. The hotel clearly had grand aspirations when it was built but it had become very tired and needed to be updated. Within 15 minutes of our arrival, we had a power cut in our room. The electrician came straight away but I have to say... more

This hotel hasnt been touched since the early eighties. If you like flourescent lighting, and the musty smell of tobacco in the carpets then you'll love this place, especially if you want to spend EUR 150 for the pleasure. The rooms are spacious enough, but mine was near the lift and the door was paper thin so i heard the... more

I stayed in the hotel for a week in May 2007. It was ok for the company-negotiated rate of 88 dollars for a single room. The hotel embodies the charme of the 80s and could do with an overhaul. My room was rather spacious and had a nice view of the long bridge connecting Asia with Europe. The bathroom was... more

I have found the hotel overpriced. The stuff is great and very helpful. The service is excellent. Great breakfast with wonderful view. My room was old, bathroom was dirty and the bed was not comfortable. I'd accept it if the price will be much lower. However, the hotel is well situated, nice bars and restaurants all around. My stay was... more

Small/miduem hotel it has 5 floors and quite rooms. I would give it 3 1/2 stars. It's an old hotel with old furniture, it's clean and well kept. Service is very helpful, food is good. The hall-ways are not light all the time, as you walk in to the hall a motion detector will turn on the lights. (all except... more
