Very chic boutique hotel right on the Bosphorus. The hotel even has a boat shuttle service to bring its guests to the other side on demand. Traditional Turkish Breakfast (for which they provide you the option to have in your incredible balcony without extra charge) was really good. more
We checked in early and our room was ready on our arrival and to our surprise we were upgraded to a suite.The location of the hotel is amazing and our first impression of the same was much better than what we expected.Each and every staff member of the hotel were giving their best making our stay all the more enjoyable.... more
Wow, what a fantastic boutique hotel this is. A beautiful old exterior and totally modern inside. We were upgraded to a mezzanine suite with a Bosphorous view, so had a living room and shower room downstairs, then a bed and stand alone bath upstairs - very luxurious. After a dozen+ times in Istanbul, this was my first stay on the Asian side and I much appreciated the quietness and elegance of the place, as well as proximity of the Bosphorus and its fleet. My Istanbul-based friend warned me about staying on the Asian side prior to my visit(there's nothing there!) but the ride(traffic aside) was scenic and revealed another side to Istanbul that I otherwise would not have seen- chic neighbourhoods, families having a picnic in parks after a workday and dogs being walked by the Bosphorus... It would have been nice, if there were some relaxing chairs outside in the sun to stay during the day-I missed that. more

I read the mixed reviews before going and after being there I can see why. Catch A'Jia on a good day and you will have a fabulous stay. Catch it on a bad day and...
