Very nice/clean hotel in the heart of the city, close to all main attractions. I like small hotel where you do not have an overload of other tourists in the breakfast area, and this hotel was one of those. Friendly staff willing to help out and give tips on where to go when asked, but not pushy when you wanted... more

Our 5-night stay at the Stone Hotel was the perfect ending of a month-long holiday (Italy, Greece, Turkey). It was quiet (except for the Call to Prayer from the mosques), clean, charming, and close to all the tourist must-see places (Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace). The front desk people could not have been more helpful and friendly. more

Guested with the Stone in early October 09 for 6 days. Situated a few blocks from the Blue Mosque & Hippodrome & within walking distance of most other attractions. Surprisingly quiet street given this location. The only sounds you'll get is the call to prayer from nearby mosque but hey - its part of the experience & it certainly beats... more

Lovely hotel in a great location- very quite street and less than five minutes walk from the main attractions of Sultanahmet, with a number of cafes and restaurants close by. I stayed in a comfortable double room which was very spacious, bright, clean and had a fantastic view of the sea. The bathroom was much bigger than I have seen... more

The staff of the Stone Hotel made our stay in Istanbul very pleasant. We were greeted with warm Turkish hospitality and tea; given a choice of very comfortable, modern rooms with air conditioning, mini-fridge and hairdryer in room; and helped to navigate our best routes and resources for exploring the attractions of Istanbul. The Stone Hotel is a beautiful place,... more

My wife & I stayed for 1 week before going on to Northern cyprus, and were very impressed by this small hotel; Very clean rooms, a pleasant open courtyard in which to take breakfast ( good buffet). Our room overlooked a mosque, so be prepared for the muezinn call to prayer at dawn. The hotel is in the center of... more

I spent 4 nights in this hotel. It is located very close to the main monuments (i.e. Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia). You can see the sea from the hotel. It is very clean and breakfasts are OK. The staff and manager are very friendly people. If you have any questions they are very helpful. They help in planning journeys, calling,... more
