We had a very private b-day party for 2 for my boy friend there :) I have to admit that hotel's location and the room that we'd stayed were the best. Just returned and we have had a good stay at the Sofa - generally fine although service was a tad 3rd world - a lot of flunkies to change a lightbulb but they all mean well! The Sofa hotel was lovely. Very good design, big room, very clean, good style, knowledgeable and attentive staff, 24/7 service, lovely view from roof terrace and great shopping nearby, particularly next door. I stayed at Sofa hotel in August for 4 nights. I've been to Istanbul before and wanted a more personal stay this time. Sofa hotel is exactly that. Smaller, intimate and beautifully designed. On the arrival we were offered cold towels and refreshing drinks. We were upgraded to a suite and offered free breakfast. The lobby is specious and comfortable.... more

The staff here including the concierge desk went out of their way to accomodate our needs. This is a very nice hotel with good facilities and a lovely roof terrace. Would highly recommend it.
