We spend a few days at the Niles Hotel on a recommendation from our daughter. It is a clean, friendly place where the staff have great pride in their work. Nothing is too much trouble! Won't repeat all of the positive remarks made by others -- just that we "ditto" all of them. An excellent choice, especially for a first visit to Istanbul as the Niles is so convenient to many major tourist sites and to the tram, which gets you to many of the others.
