The hotel could not have a better location, just steps away from the historic core of Istanbul. It is in a side street and we found it very quiet , especially at nighttime. The hotel has style and charm, and the standard of food in the hotel was excellent. Authentic cuisine served with efficiency by kind and attentive staff. Our... More

The hotel was much better than expecting, service was very good, very friendy, polite and helpful, even better than some 5star hotel i went. The room was nice, clean and well decorated. Great location. Will definitely stay at this hotel again. Only down side is no swiming pool and no elevator as i stay on the 3rd floor but not... More

Our room overlooked the historic Hagia Sophia, and we could stroll from here easily to all the major attractions. Even though central, it was quiet, and the terrace and breakfast area are set around lovely greenery. All the staff were exceptionally helpful and made us feel very welcome. We would definitely stay here again.

Position, position, position. Perfect location especially as this was our first visit to Turkey. We could walk everywhere and if exploring further took the tram nearby. Our room,on the third level looked straight into Haghia Sofia . The street was surprisingly quiet, even on the weekend. The staff knowledgeable and very helpful.. We noticed and annex was been redecorated and... More

This hotel is simply wonderful. It ticks all the boxes. Location is perfect, 5 minutes' walk from Blue Mosque, Arasta Bazaar, Haghia Sofia etc. but in a delightful quiet side street. Great breakfasts, beautiful restaurant. Lovely interior decor. Best of all are the staff. Nothing is too much trouble. They are so helpful, friendly and welcoming. We've stayed here many... More

My wife and I spent several nights here. It is perfectly located just a short walk to the Basilica Cistern and the Blue Mosque. Hagia Sofia is literally across the street and was a treat to see out our window each day. Topkapi Palace is also very close by. Just a couple of blocks away is the Sultanhamet tram stop.... More

Despite the title of this review, the hotel has a lot more going for it than the wonderful location (so close to the main attractions as many others have documented). The staff were great, particularly the lovely man on reception whose name I wish I could remember- I think it was Arhan. I loved the breakfast which had a wide... More

This lovely small hotel is probably the best located for the AyaSofya, Blue Mosque, Topkapi palace; cisterns and the hammam. Staff are helpful. However - the standard doubles in the newer part look out onto the tram lines and when we were there there were roadworks that started at midnight and lasted until the early hours of the morning. Stayed 4 nights at this wonderful hotel in the heart of Sultanahmet, walking distance to all the main attractions and the tram. Be sure to get the Premium or Sultan rooms as the Standard/Superior are quite small. Staff is warm, friendly, and gracious, felt like family. Breakfast was ample, delicious, and dinner in the same restaurant was also delicious. No complaints... More
