The staff were very friendly and helpful. The view from the roof is spectacular, one of the few places you can see the Aya Sofia and the Blue Mosque. Accommodation is basic but clean and quiet and very good for the price around here. Good food made on site. Recommended. more

We were welcomed very friendly by the staff of the hotel. They were very helpfull and installed us in our room very efficiently. The room was cleam, as was the shared bathroom. They were cleaned daily, also daily refreshing new towels. It was around the corner of the Aya Sofia and in the heart of Sultanahmet. Very good to reach... more

Med Cezir is a hostel, rather than a hotel. The place is rather basic, shared bathrooms unless you take the family room. The entire place is a bit grubby, there was a leak in our room and the heating scarce in the middle of winter! The only plus point to this place is its location. It is a stone's throw... more

A small hotel in a nice street of Istanbul, nearby the blue mosque and topkapi palace. The staff is kindly en the rooms are clean. The breakfast is simple, but enough. It's a good choice if you don't want to spend a lot of money for your stay. more

We stayed at the Med Cezir Hotel in March 2008. We recommand the hotel because: - very good location (in front of the Hotel 4 Seansons) because very close to the old town (Bleu Mosque, Hagia Sophia), - people in the hotel are helpful, - rooms are clean, - the area is very quiet, - quality/price ratio was very good... more

We loved staying at the Med Cezir! The location couldn't be better, just a few steps from Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. The room we had was larger than many we've had oversees, it even included a single bed so that when one of us starting snoring, the other had an escape. Large windows made the room look very... more

We stayed at the Med Cezir (pronounced med-jez-eer) hotel located at Tevkifhane Sk. No 6, which is basically right across the street from the Four Seasons, and just 100' from the Baths of Lady Hurren where the Government Carpet Shop is located. We were there three nights (the 2nd to 4th of November), and stayed in room #8, which for... more

Med Cezir Hotel has a great location. You are in a short walking distance to all the sights and shopping. But they only except cash up front for your whole stay. Rooms are minimal and a bit dingy, They provide linens, but do not change/or make your bed, during your stay. The rooms do not have AC. So if you... more

I had a wonderful time there...the owners and workers were great fun to get to know. It is very quiet...a plus if you're trying to sleep! It is cerntrally located so you can walk 5 minutes and be at the Blue Mosque or Hagia Sophia. If you walk the other way you will wander in the Sultanhamet and there are... more
