We stayed here for four nights, the room was spacious although the bathroom was quite small, the standard of cleanliness throughout was excellent. There was a good variety at breakfast, cereal, eggs, pancakes, bread, cheese, tea & coffee. The hotel is in the old part of Istanbul, within walking distance of The Blue Mosque,Hagia Sophia Museum and Topkapi Palace Museum. Also there are a number... More

After many years travelling, it is rewarding to find a hotel nicely located at a walking distance of all attractions. Very cleaned facilities. The room 42 has a unbelievable views to Bosforo strait, Marmara Sea and Golden Horn. The best, the service offered by the owners and their employee. The breakfast may be improved. Reasonable price. Higly recommended. More

Our room was comfortable even though we had the cheapest room. Breakfast consisted of fresh bread, fruit, pancakes and all sorts of tasty toppings, that can be eaten in a nice small garden. The Berk hotel has a main roof terrace that has a perfect view of the sea, the hagia sophia and the blue mosque. And last but not... More

The biggest selling point for this place is the location. You are a few minutes from the main sights so if you are smart enough to eat breakfast at 8.30 (when it is served) and head out to the main sights at 9 you should beat the mass of tourists and snap some great photos. We saw the Basilica Cistern... More

Perfect location as it's only a 5 minute walk to all the main sights. The room was fabulous - very spacious on the 3rd floor overlooking the Four Seasons Hotel. For a great view then the small roof terrace won't disappoint you - overlooks the Bosphorous so plenty to see! The breakfast is served downstairs and it was very good.... More

We stumble upon this familiar hotel when we were searching for a nice hotel near to the hostel we'd stay in. And it was great: when we came in a nice lady with an lovely smile welcomed us at the reception desk. We fall immediatly in love with the lady (who were the chef of the hotel), the old but... More

Came back to Berk Guest House after many years in June 2011. It had just reopened following renovations I believe in April 2011. Back firmly under management by its hosts and owners. We had two rooms for our family and everyone had a great experience and recommends the guest house to anyone. Nicely renovated. Very clean. A/C. Breakfast outside. Roof... More
