We loved this hotel. It is in a cute boutique area with cobbled streets and lots of good restaurants. Only minutes walk from the Blue Mosque and Aya Sofya and a few more to the Grand Bazaar so location is spot on. We booked via email and the communication was always quick. We arrived late at night and was picked... more

My friends and I, after three weeks touring Turkey with Overseas Adventure Travelors, remained four nights in Istanbul. Disregarding the advise of our tour leader, two of my traveling companions got nervous and booked the Apricot by phone from Izmir. The hotel is really a dump. It is overpriced, not as advertised, stained wallpaper falling off stairwells and rooms, TV's... more

Our stay in istanbull was amazing, hotel Apricot, was central to all sights (walking ) and some great restaurants, it is quaint, and personal. You can be in the thick of thousands of people and relax in a lovely hospitable hotel when you have had enough. Breakfast was always good, our rooms clean with lovely views of the blue mosque.... more

We spent six weeks tucked into this charming hotel. With a guest to staff ratio of 2:1, we always received plenty of attention and assistance with whatever it was we wanted to do. This hospitable staff knows what we need before we know we need it. This is a small boutique hotel, and it cannot be compared to a five... more

It is a very cute hotel. Rooms are clean, have great views of the Blue Mosque. Our room also a jacuzzi and nice balcony. Unfortunately, there was no shampoo or soap in the bathroom or bubble soap for the jacuzzi. Also, no drawers in the room and hangers were missing from the wardrobe. Otherwise, very nice little hotel. more

We stayed in room number 2 at the Apricot on May 5 and 6, 2009, following a tour of Turkey. Our room was very nice with a spacious bathroom containing a whirlpool bath and a balcony containing a table and two chairs with a very good view of the Blue Mosque. Except for the call to prayer, it was very... more

Based on trip advisor reviews we made reservations at the Hotel Apricot for 3 nights at the beginning of our stay and 3 at the end. When we arrived in Istanbul, naturally tired from the long trip, we were asked to wait in the lobby without any explanation. After about an hour the owner appeared and said that the bathroom... more

We spent 3 nights in early April at the Apricot Hotel - and it was wonderful! The room, as others have mentioned, is a bit simple, and while we were there the shower doors were being replaced - so taking a shower was a bit interesting, but.... We had the fabled room #5 - What a view! When we first... more

We spent our first 3 nights in Turkey here and loved it. The staff were helpful, arranged for airport pick up and helped out with further travel plans. The top floor room was plain, but clean, and had a lovely view of the blue mosque. Breakfast every morning was a delight on the rooftop terrace with eggs cooked to order... more

We have just returned from staying at the Apricot Hotel, a small boutique hotel in Sultanahmet. This is our third visit to this hotel – because for us it ticks all the boxes! First of all there is the location…. In the heart of Sultanahmet, just round the corner from Akbiyik Cad - which is full of good restaurants and... more
