We had been on a trip to the sound and light show on the other side of the mountain and wanted to stay in the area. The rooms are really designed for families and can sleep 5. The toilet and bathroom are separate so both can be in use and there are two sinks for brushing teeth etc. There is a fridge in each room and the rooms are clean. There are plenty of USB points for charging devices. The food in the dining room is not fancy, it is a glorified youth hostel after all, but it is perfectly adequate. The outdoor pool is very nice and the location is perfect for a trip to the dead sea or a visit to Masada. The front desk staff were very helpful.

Good hotel but a tad overpriced. The rooms are okay. The bathroom is well equipped. The food is good and has a variety to it. The location is great to visit Masada and at a few minutes ride to the Dead Sea.

We came for a visit to the great area of the dead Sea. It was our first stay in a hostel and it was a great experience. The building is accessible. The rooms are big and clean and breakfast was great .

Avoid having dinner here. It's just not worth it. Also having to pay full hotel price for bunk beds that smell like a bedwetter has slept there before... Sorry, but if it wasn't for being able to walk up to Massada for sunrise (which btw is absolutely breath-taking) there there is no reason for staying there.

This place is truly amazing. We came expecting a hostel but found something that looks more like a hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the breakfast buffet is varied and good. There is even a swimming pool free of charge for guests. If you want to climb Masada early in the morning to see the sunrise this is a most go. You can also use this place to explore other nearby areas such as Ein Gedi.

we stay for 1 night family of 5, the facilities are really in good condition, the hotel and room were clean, the swimming pool was great. and the Staff were really nice. Some improvements: need better food with more variety, to have some bar or small store for beverages and food need to add some more indoor activities for the family, In overall great - will defiantly return back!!

Outstanding location of this hostel at the foot of Massada fortress, and completely isolated from the crowdy resorts nearby. Rooms are simple but with such a view on the Dead Sea. The architecture itself respects the atmosphere of the neighbourhood. And after the so moving visit of Massada, there is a swimming pool for some relaxing moment. Be aware that lodging in Israel is not cheap.

Spent one night here. Great location, just down the hill from the Masada Visitor Center, easy to walk to. Had wonderful view of Dead Sea and Jordan from our window. Room was clean, beds were comfortable. Breakfast was great...lots of variety, lovely large dining room with view. Only problem was the noise. Early evening, bus loads of middle schoolers trooped in, very excited and very noisy. We thought they'd settle down, but they were still screaming and running around after midnight! Chaperones didn't seem to care about keeping them quiet, neither did the staff. Even with the cement cube rooms, we could hear them! Luckily, we were so exhausted, we feel asleep anyways. We made sure to get to the breakfast buffet as soon as it opened, as did all the other individual tourists. The kids weren't allowed in until later! Maybe you'll be lucky and there will be no school groups!…

This hostel is located just at the foot of the snake path up to Massada so perfect for those wishing to do the sunrise walk. The rooms were clean and stocked with towels and showering products. The breakfast was a buffet style with plenty of choice. Although a little expensive for a hostel I think it was good value for the added extras you receive (plentiful breakfast & use of the communal swimming pool).
