Either spend a lot more and have a luxurious time in Eilat, or spend a lot less and rough it - but don't settle for this purgatorial place unless it's the only option left to you. A reasonable hotel, very clean room, but no control to change airconditioner setting, only on and off. Excellent pool area and Jacuzzi, but unfortunately it closes at 6pm, even on a hot night. Food was acceptable and fresh. For the price, very good value. more

We were really impressed with this hotel. It is in the more budget range, but facilities excellent, great pool, rooms nice - clean and tidy and aircon quiet and efficient and breakfast really supurb. Staff very friendly and helpful. Also next to a small supermarket and within walking distance of everything. Highly recommend and would definately stay again. Thanks more

Stayed at Americana in early July 2008. The staff is mostly friendly, although one housekeeper kept waking us up at 8 am to clean the room!!!
