During our recent stay at a reputed five-star hotel, we were deeply disappointed by the conditions and service. The room's cleanliness was unacceptable, with dirty bed linens, a soiled baby cot, and a kettle encrusted with limescale. The bathroom conditions were worse, featuring urine stains, feces, and mold in the shower area. Dirty dishes and discarded clothing were strewn around the hotel, further diminishing our experience. Safety concerns were evident with exposed electrical sockets and broken stairs, posing serious risks. Additionally, the service was subpar, highlighted by an over 40-minute wait for the tuk-tuk service. This experience severely lacked the quality expected from a high-caliber establishment. We expect a detailed response, an explanation, and compensation for this unsatisfactory experience. We hope our feedback leads to significant improvements in the hotel's maintenance and service standards.

My family and I had a disheartening experience with Orchidea Hotel in Eilat. Amidst an unsettling war situation starting from October 7th, 2023, we had to cancel our reservation (scheduled for October 8th-10th) at the hotel. Despite an initial understanding from the reception staff who assured no cancellation fees due to the extraordinary situation, we were fully charged on the day of check-in. Subsequent communication proved futile, with unfulfilled promises of callbacks and error rectifications. We are deeply disappointed by Orchidea Hotels' lack of empathy towards residents in the conflict zone and find it disheartening to be charged in full for a stay that did not materialize. We, hailing from Ashkelon, sadly cannot recommend this hotel and advise potential patrons to be wary.

Literally an oasis in the middle of the desert. We drove there 5 hours by car from Telaviv and didn't regret. Very green area, reminded us of an exotic country. We got a small house on the level 3... next to the 2nd pool which i found very relaxing. Not crowded, room was with a balcony looking towards palm trees. Deep tissue massage in the spa + spa manager lady was friendly . Happy that we chose this hotel sitatued a bit further from town which in my view only a benefit.

We have been going to this lovely Thai Orchard Hotel, on the side of a mountain, about 13 years. Every time I come it gets better. I’d rate this a 6+ hotel. Each of the rooms, have everything one could want. It’s tuktuk machine (Sherut) that one takes from the highest floor to the lowest and around is a bit nosy. The pool for everyone is like your on a island, it’s breakfast is abundance. And it’s dinners are wonderful. If your a VIP person you can enter private pool. Children would love.

Honestly the most OVERPRICED stay I’ve ever had. Eilat is beautiful but this hotel is not worth the money at all. The reception staff lack even basic manners, not helpful and barely speak English. Very rude staff, old facilities, the breakfast buffet is not a big deal, looks nice but the taste and the quality is very poor. You can have way more fun, luxury and comfort for that amount even in places like in Dubai!! Skip this hotel, CHEAP.

After arriving at the hotel, we immediately checked-out again as the hotel lacks in everything: the hotel and rooms are not clean and very old, the staff hardly speaks English and neglects you, and service is the worst I have ever experienced, hence way overpriced - it should be a high-end hotel with over 400 EUR per night!!! Since we prepaid our stay, Dani from Reception and Ravi the Hotel Manager promised to refund us 100% of the money. But many phone calls later (which I just got hung up on) and two months later, the Reservation Manager told me it’s our fault and that no money will be refunded. Even after complaining, the staff remained rude. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL if you want a relaxing stay.

Incredibly beautiful resort. I'm not a type for it, but I liked it there with lots of palm trees and green and nature. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful and the breakfast was incredibly lush and huge. I liked it very much. It was a five minute walk to the coral reef.

The stuff is very unprofessional and rude. you have to call tuktuk ( golf car) service in order to get in / out of your room and it takes ages. My 9 months baby didn’t feel well and got super high fever in the middle of the night, we called ambulance and than we had to call the reception over 5 times to get the tuktuk and nobody picked up the phone. We could not catch it and had to go by foot with the ambulance with a baby who is losing consciousness. On the next day the stuff was not respectful, rude and not considerate. we asked to extend the hour for check out for a few hours since we were in the emergency room with a baby and they yelled at us that we have to come back pack our stuff and leave by 11 am. only when I yelled back at them and made a scandal, they agreed to extend a stay until 1pm. the manager was nice , he apologized for the behavior of the stuff, but in general - stuff on reception, pool, dining room is pretty rude , not friendly ,not professional and not helpful. If they would fix this issue , it would be an awesome and beautiful place to stay with family, couple or kids, since the facilities are great, beautiful pool, view and location.

The Orchid Hotel would not be my first choice in Eilat. With so many good hotels with much better locations, I would give this one a pass. First of all, the hotel is on a hill, and getting to the rooms is not easy. Secondly, the rooms are not well maintained: my tv had no volume and the internet not good at all. However, the staff is friendly and the breakfast buffet is awesome.

We’re staying at the hotel while writing these lines. The main issues are the maintenance and the cleanliness of the hotel. Almost everything here is way too old to be qualified as a modern or even usable hotel. We had a broken chair in our room, the wallpaper is worn and cracked, the deck on which you have to walk in order to get into the room is crumbling and quite literally broken, I wonder if this is actually safe? The surrounding of the smaller pool, for kids, was filthy, a noticeable stench was present throughout the area, the floor in that are was filthy and despite complaining several times to the receptionist, nothing was done. The kids pool was green without algae, and mold. Quite horrible. The room facilities were ok but very noisy. Overall, that was our favorite hotel in Israel. Time to say goodbye.
