My family, which includes children from 2 to 20, really enjoyed our stay over Sukkot. This is our fourth stay at Bayit Bagalil and we enjoy each stay more than the last. The food is always fresh, impeccably prepared and presented. The staff is helpful and anticipates your every need. The romantic setting in the middle of a forest with... more

Traveling with young children to Israel isn't an easy task. The thought of the airplane ride alone can scare a person. Knowing that we were going to spend a week on Sucoth in Bayit Bagalil kept me calm from JFK to Tel Aviv. :-) - Bayit Bagalil offers a serenity that I don't quite experience anywhere else. I have been... more

After hearing great things about this hotel , I must say that had the hotel been in a different location, (i.e. not in gorgeous Israel), it would have been an awful stay. It is relaxing and in beutiful surroundings however the hotel is lacking some core functions. Staff seem novice and untrained in the hospitality industy. At least not in... more

We have just spent two wonderful days resting and eating at Bayit Bagalil. We can identify with all your previous reviewers as very little has changed. There is still no management, the staff are numerous but inept. We had no complaints about the pool area until a coach load arrived for 'afternoon tea'. When we arrived we were helped in... more

It is a magical place, deep in the forest of the Galilee region of Israel which for me is the most beautiful part of the country. The SPA is a very well kept, beautifully laid out property with many small details adding to its overall charm. The food is first class which to be honest as it is kosher was a bit... more

There is no doubt that this a unique hotel in Israel - there is simply nowhere else like it. Nestling in a pine forest setting that is simply magical, the hotel has much to commend it. spacious, well specified bedroom suites, bubbling fountains, a lovely terrace, and beautifully prepared food. There were however some gripes that a $600 per night... more

We stayed at the Bayit Bagalil for one night only but would have gladly stayed longer. The rooms are all mini suites - comfortable beds, big sitting area and large bathrooms. Stays at this hotel are on a half board basis - breakfast and dinner - both of which were out of this world. The pool area was picturesque and... more

Bayit Bagalil is a magnificent hotel and its impressive external structure sets the mood of luxury as you arrive. The hotel is set in a mountain side forest overlooking the Galilee valley and there are some superb views looking out towards the Golan Heights in the distance. The room was large, modern, well furnished and the bathroom included a jacuzzi... more

Coffeemaven surprised me with a two-night stay at this spa resort in celebration of a significant birthday. It was our first time there, and I hope it won't be our last. There is no way to drive directly up to the reception area, so it is necessary to carry/wheel suitcases some distance, part of which is gravel-surfaced. This is something... more
