I spent two days at this hotel, with a group. We had travelled from Jordan, then toured the city. Exhausted we were all looking forward to a four star welcome from Jerusalem. Only to find the rooms were tiny, the walls covered in dirt aswell as the carpets, the bed linen was ill fitting and torn. The furniture looked like... more

Hotel was very good with large rooms and very clean. Rooms are well soundproofed and you don't hear other guests. Staff are very helpful and professional. Buffet breakfast has a wide range of food which was all very fresh and good. Has a pool and gym. It is about 12 minute walk to the old city so and the area... more

We stayed at this hotel for two nights as part of a tour to Jerusalem. We arrived tired and hot after a long day of travelling from Jordan and sightseeing in the city. We were really looking forward to the comfort of a four star hotel On first sight the hotel looked fine, spacious lobby area, juice on arrival and... more

I travelled to Jerusalem with my parents and my sister to visit the Holy Places. We stayed five days at the Moriah Classic Hotel in Jerusalem (former Novotel Jerusalem). The Hotel is perfectly located at a distance of 10 minutes walk from the Old City (Damascus Gate). The service was good enough even though it was far from the standards... more

A short walk to the Damascus Gate, the Moriah Hotel was just what we needed. We arrived without reservations and they gave us a nice room for $150 a night. The breakfast buffet was absolutely fantastic! If an Israeli breakfast with everything you can imagine is what you're looking for, then stay here. Enam will keep your cup filled at... more

We stayed at The Moriah Classic in March 2009 with a 24 member tour group. When I heard that the location was in a majority Muslim section of the city, I was a little hesitant. Put your heart at rest, it's as safe if not safer than most inner city USA hotels. You can walk to the Damascus Gate, down... more

It was our first trip to Israel and we chose this hotel because relatives from other parts of world were all converging there for a Bar Mitzvah. We Stayed in room 866. It had a balcony and the room was larger than I thought it would... more

This hotel is mainly used by tour groups (Christian, Jews, Arabs, etc.) and so during our stay, there must have been 7 other tour groups present (It was Christmas/Chanukah.) The hotel is crowded and is right next to two other hotels (Olive Tree is one of them.) Upon arrival, we had to change rooms because the first room smelled like... more
