I stayed here for one night. Very simple place with good food (must sign up before hand for dinner) and nice staff. I recommend at least one night inside the old walls at this place if you have time. Easy to find and good place to relax with warm cookie or cold drink even if not staying here. more

Staying here was one of the best experiences I've had. I am a seasoned traveler and have had varied types of guesthouse exposures ...this by far was the absolute there is. This is a guesthouse, run by volunteers who care deeply about the city, the church, and the guest house. While warm and welcoming, the volunteers take good care of the place but aren't really there to be at your beckon call - so don't expect the kind of service you'd receive at a hotel. I enjoyed my 8 day stay at Christ Church. The room was small, linens were clean but towels were one per custom and no wash cloths, bath mat on request., had to request t.p. on two occasions.
