Hi all, If u want to know my opinion, just read the previous review. I completely agree with everything, including the breakfast. I would say it's a bit expensive, but location is excellent, so price is not that bad more

The Eldan is a reasonably priced, excellently located hotel, clean, quiet, comfortable, and entirely adequate, though not at all luxurious. The Eldan is your basic hotel with acceptable rooms and breakfast included. While there were really no extras, what the Eldan provided was sufficient for our extended family needs. The only real complaint I have is that the breakfast was... more

We stayed at the Eldan Hotel last week, from 15th to 17th evening. We had the room # 417 from where we a view from the Old city wall. I fully agree with the previous review from DocDavid just adding that we have enjoyed a great dinner and lunch at the 3 Archs restaurant which is at YMCA hotel just... more

The Eldan Hotel in Jerusalem is ideally located on King David Street, opposite the famous King David Hotel, and next to the iconic YMCA building. In terms of location and price, it’s to be recommended. It is cheap, cheerful and clean, and if your purpose is touring and sightseeing for most of the day, then this hotel is adequate. If... more

We recently spent four nights here and were not disappointed. The location is excellent, a long walk or short cab ride to the old city, and close to Ben Yehuda Street and many restaurants and other attractions. Our room was small but totally adequate. The daily breakfast buffet was excellent, and on Saturdays they have an extended brunch from 9... more

I stayed in this hotel during Easter/Passover of this year. The location of the hotel, was brilliant for seeing all the aspects of Jerusalem but the price was overly expensive for what we got. The food, due to passover, was not good for travellers who were not of the jewish faith, and there not being a bar (for the same... more

I stayed for 7 nights including the Festival of Shavuot, a peak travel time to Jerusalem. The hotel guests included many Israelis as well as foreign tourists, so if the locals stay here, it must be pretty good. My room was simple, clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful, responsive, and efficient. The breakfast buffet offered a tasty and satisfying... more

Our third stay at the Eldan. Small and friendly hotel, clean and comfortable rooms, decent bathrooms, fantastic location. Breakfasts functional but filling. We had interconnecting family rooms - spacious is not a word that springs to mind, but how much time do you spend in your room in this amazing city? Spend your money on a good tour guide, not... more

I stayed here with my wife and several family members over the Easter (Passover) period. We were required to stay for six nights (when we probably only needed four) because it was Passover. For the same reason we were charged $280 per night for two of the nights but 'only' $190 for the other four nights. The Eldan's situation is... more

We stayed here for a week while touring on our own. The staff is very helpful, the rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable; we also liked that it was a non-smoking property. We did request a corner room and found it to be fairly spacious. The location is just outstanding - across the street from the Citadel Hotel... more
