Stayed here with a group. My expectations for a kibbutz hotel were not high, but I was pleasantly surprised by the rooms, which were modern, clean, spacious, and had all the amenities a family would need. My beef with this hotel is the location. The hotel is by the sea and I thought we were going to have beach access.... more

i wanted to come here as i had fond memories of the waterpark from my youth and thought that a couple of days there would be amazing for my kids. I stayed three nights in the Kibbutz Hotel Shefayim in march 2008 fo a buisiness meeting. The kibbutz is nice, you can walk 15 min to reach the beach and spend you day strolling along the plamtree gardens. The food is reasonable- like youth hostel standard. Shefayim is a hotel kibbutz which is geared to families wanting to go to the adjacent water park and is very popular with Israelis. We checked out early and I would not recommend it for anyone.
