Moved into Renaissance for 6 nights after one night at Metropolitan Hotel. Approx £200 per room/night. Lovely bed, well decorated, spacious, safe, fridge, balcony with lovely view of the beach. This was my second stay at the Renaissance and it, like the first one two years ago, was very nice. The staff was cooperative. The facilities beautiful and the breakfast great. I would certainly return for another stay. more

We were told by the doorman to leave our car just outside hotel's front door during check in. Imagine our surprise when we come out 15 minutes later (we literally checked in and brought our bags upstairs and ran back down) and there is a 250 nis parking ticket tucked into our windshield wiper. This hotel is right in the heart of Tel Aviv. Right on the beach and the beach was beautiful. The water is so warm and stays shallow so far out. People are swimming from dawn to dusk. Resturants are all around. you can walk to most shopping. On the outside it doesn't look that great, but inside is very nice.... more

The location can't be beat - right at the beach and only a short walk to restaurants, night life, cafes, and shops. Great, clean beach with chairs and umbrellas for rent. Just back from a week at the Renaissance (our 4th at this particular hotel, our 14th to Israel) and once again the hotel has come up trumps. Based on previous experience, we booked fairly early and insisted on a Jaffa view and a high floor before we agreed the booking. The first requirement will soon become obvious when you compare... more
