Rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff--worst ever encountered--hospitality must be a foreign word at this hotel. Restaurant was a joke--cold 'hot' food--only improved after we complained and then for only one night, after that the food was back to basic wretched. Dining room staff actually were hostile. Traffic flows beneath this hotel so the noise can be annoying. Run down... more

Living in Israel has acclimated me to the no-nonsense demeanor of hospitality staff, however, I was appalled by the reception at the Marina Hotel. The fronk desk woman left us standing there for no less than 10 minutes while she chatted with a coworker and glanced at us occasionally. After she began to process our reservation, she repeatedly became side-tracked... more

The hotel looks worse than it really is. The entrance and the hotel itself looks as if it needs profound restauration and it is located in an area where some works are being done. The hotel staff is OK, execept the fact that we arrived on a Friday and nothing/ nobody worked because of the holy day. more

Stay far away if you can. This place charged a great deal of money (even with a "special" rate negotiated for a group attending a wedding we paid $170 (US)) but provided almost nothing in the way of service. We had to struggle to get our room cleaned. The front desk staff gave us inaccurate information about transportation options (you'd... more

I just spent Shabbat at this hotel as part of a group of 20 couples and was very pleasantly surprised after having read the reviews on this site The hotel is not fancy but the rooms were clean and of reasonable size and the bathroom was in excellent shape. The furnishings were plain but certainly adequate and the airconditioning worked... more

I would rate this hotel 2 stars not 4 for sure. Room is too small and bathroom is so old, not really clean , terrible smell . I wouldn’t recommended it . Breakfast is ok nothing special . The hotel itself located under the bridge , main door is under the bridge. more

This hotel is an unmitigated disaster. I cannot warn fellow travellers enough NOT to stay here. My family of four just returned from a 15 day tour of Israel. Our Israeli travel agent booked us in this fleabag for 2 nights. Knowing from other reviews how bad it was, I tried to change, but Tel-Aviv was so booked up in... more

The hotel promises a memorable stay, and that's what we got. It took half an hour to check in... without only one guest waiting in line in front of us. The receptionist basically ignored us for half an hour. The service is terrible. The rooms are terrible as well. This hotel puts up very nice pictures, but ti's a classic... more

I stayed in this Hotel in March things may have improved since then. Israel hotels are not cheap including this one. Felt like a nice UK Travelodge. The room was fine, although nothing special. Clean, comfortable and quite. The breakfast was ok a good selection. Certainly not like a real 4 star though. Location was great for the beach, other... more
