Nice place to hang out with other travelers, nice breakfast, no smoking allowed in public area which is good , arrange day trips. I actually moved to their 12JD dorm room from another 10JD single hotel for the above reasons.... A day trip to 3 dessert castles, sleepers tomb, wetland, was 20, 5JD more than Cliff Hotel for 5 castles.... More

Clearly when a guest has a stay that isn't entirely satisfactory we have to investigate the reasons and causes to ensure all our guests have an enjoyable stay. However, there are times when this is clearly difficult to do for a multitude of reasons. Firstly this guest arrived after staying in around 5 other hostels in Downtown. She also arrived... More

Downtown Amman, just minutes from some sites in the city like the Citadel and Roman theatre. Nice rooms, good airconditioning provided and staff was wonderful. Especially the guy in the counter who always seem to be working.(He wears glasses) Anything you need, tours, taxi and advice you got it. Breakfast too was excellent, with choices. The toilets can get a... More

It kills me to give this place an 'average.' The staff are wonderful. The hummus served with every breakfast is the best in the world. But you can't get a 'very good' from me if you let people smoke in the lobby and the stairwells ... the smell of smoke comes into the rooms! The bathroom floor is also the... More

Rooms are basic and a little dirty. Shared bathroom is the kind that is shower toilet and sink all in one. It didnt drain properly so you were standing in dirty water after someone showered. The owner and staff are very nice and helpful and let us check out late with no extra charge.

I felt like at home. or better ,because every person of the staff, was triying to help me in every way.And the guests were young people and very respectful of each other. So we all shared the lobby in a quiet and homely way. The views from my room were superb.and the braskfasts, too.

The Jordan Tower is located almost directly across from the Roman amphitheater in downtown Amman. This made is a great base to sightsee by foot. We were able to book tours around Amman and they found other travelers to go with as well to make it more economical. As a result, we've made some amazing friends that we ended up... More

Cheap central dorm beds at sensible prices, easy walking distance from the Roman Amphitheatre and citadel. As the previous reviewer mentioned, the weakest points are the shared bathrooms which are clean but small with showers pouring straight onto the floors such that one's feet get wet when going to the toilet. Also, being very popular, one may get moved from... More

This place is almost next to the Roman theatre in the downtown area of Amman. Should you need any other reason to stay then the room we had (shared bathroom) was only 27JD a night. The breakfast was again very very good. There are three options given and then extra food add as well. The two owners are very nice... More

I reserved several shared trips at the Jordan Tower: Jerash, Madaba/Dead Sea, etc. Total of four tourists, so it was great to share the cost among us. The drivers were also friendly; the one who drove us to Madaba/Dead Sea spoken English, had a good sense of humor, and was informative of Jordan and Amman. Basically, to reserve a shared... More

I came to Jordan for a week to trek around and I found Jordan Tower through reviews on Tripadvisor and Hostelworld. It did not disappoint! I stayed my first night in Amman and two nights at the end of my trip. Certainly can't beat the price and the location is nice. Because of the number of backpackers coming through, I... More
