After 2 nights in the Royal I can tell you that this is not a real 5* Hotel! Beer was sold out one evening. Some cars in the garage were broken open. Hair dryer in room was broken. I had a great room on the 17th floor and enjoyed the view very much. The hotel is conveniently located, has an underground parking garage (convenient for my rental car) and you can see it from all over Amman. On the last day the floor could have used some vacuuming. I stayed at the Le Royal for 3 days and found it to be very clean and comfortable. My room had an excellent view over Amman. The staff were pleasant and helpful. I didn't eat dinner there so can't comment on that. The breakfast was fairly standard. more
