I stayed one night in Amman on a business trip. I arrived to the Toledo very late (after midnight) but check-in was quick and smooth. Not in the Downton area but close enough to walk to the centre with a choice of restaurants. If you can,avoid to eat at the Tivoli as it is really dreadful, not local food, trying to be European and failing... Perfect for an overnight stop as the rooms have been recently refurbished and are very clean. Good welcome. more

The Toledo proved to be an excelent hotel in every way. The room, including bathroom, was spotlessly clean and the public areas were attractively furnished. I ate only breakfast there. There was a wide variety of food, attractively presented. I stayed only one night but whould have been happy to have used this hotel for a longer visit to Amman. more
