Went to the Dead Sea Spa Hotel for one night as part of the trip across Jordan. We had a room with 2 queen size beds, spacious, clean a really nice room. Meals were included in the package so I can't speak about prices, breakfast and dinner were served as a buffet and with a reasonable choice of salads and... more

This place was heaven. I walked in the crisply air-conditioned room, dropped my dusty backpack on the cleanly scrubbed floor, opened the door to balcony with a view to the Dead Sea, turned on English-speaking TV... and ripped open the sanitization-guarantee seal on the toilet. It was amazing. I loved it. Maybe because I was staying in dirty hostels all... more

Went to the Dead Sea Spa Hotel for the day as part of the trip across Jordan. I am sure the hotel was great in its hey day but to be honest it is really rather tired now. It is apparently rated as 4 star but I would say more 2 star at best. Poolside food is chips, chips or... more

At the end of a wonderful trip to Jordan, it was extremely disappointing to spend our last nights at The Dead Sea Spa Hotel. The foyer looks inviting enough, yet the floor of our room was filthy , the sheets were stained and the bath leaked continuously during our stay. We had no towels in the room on arrival and... more

I stayed for 1 night ($160!!) but it was high season so it's to be expected really. I booked a single room but I don't think there are any because I had a room with 2 queen size beds all to myself. When I checked in I was told that I had a really nice room - deluxe with sea... more

At first glance this place didnt look too bad but once we got out of the car the smell of rew sewage outside the entrance was overpowering. That set the tone for the rest of the experience really - rude staff, dirty rooms, flies everywhere, awful facilities. The toilets by the pool were some of the worst i've ever seen... more

This hotel was described as tourist class by our trek organiser. We arrived very late at night, but they awaiting us with refreshing drinks. We were checked in quickly and shown to our rooms. Rooms were large, airy, well fitted out with excellent bathrooms. Breakfast was splendid - a huge spread of everything one could want. Sadly, we only stayed... more

building and location is high class but that's all I can add to positives. staff and services are of low standars, simple requests like please bring us the towels which were not available at the room initially, took 30 min after calling reception and room service 5 times and then chasing room service staff myself. music from the pool area... more

24 Sep 2009 | Trip type: Family

Four families together spent two nights there, and will recommend others to go there. Some of the rooms were not clean, some did not have a working TV. Worst of all was the loud music at night. They had live music outside at the pool, and it made it impossible for the staff to take orders for food, and we... more

I took my family to Jordan to spend a week holiday. Staying at the Dead Sea Spa hotel for 5 days was an affordable and enjoyable experience for my family and myself. The staff was very accomodating and the rooms are large and spacious. The food at the buffet was excellent and plentiful. We toured the best sights in Jordan... more
