Madaba is ideally placed for day trips north of Amman (Jeresh, Aljoun, Um Qais), east to the dead sea (Mt Nebo, Hammarmat Main Hot Springs, Baptism Site) and Amman itself, but it is quieter than Amman. Even though Madaba is not really a special location. Transportation to other places is hard to get or unreliable to organise. If you stuck the Madaba Inn is a great option with good quality and comfy rooms. 'Flexible' Rate and great front desk staff. Especially Taghreed - she was very helpfull in trying to organise transportation. more

The quality of the rooms for a 3* hotel is fantastic, certainly better standard than some of the 4* hotels in nearby Amman.
